It’s 5 o clock in the mornin’…cue the Lily Allen…
Merritt and I just parted at the terminal and I am already missing her. ‘twas a wonderful week with my lady & her family. This blog is turning into blues music and sappy lover posts…but I think I am OK with that. Hope y’all have a blessed Wednesday :)

GPOY: PART 2: On Bussing
I love bus culture. People are weird. We all are.  Some plug in their headphones and pass out like that one chick who always drank too much Natty Light whilst partying with the bros at Alpha Tau Omega. There are also the bussers who plug in their headphones and forget that everyone on the bus can hear them. They’re either belting their best (and failed) attempt to sing Beyonce or watching YouTube videos such as this one and laughing like goons.  There are the stressed out folks who talk (literally) for 6 hours on the phone with an auntie in Baltimore - divulging details that would make Pauly D blush. Then there are the bussers who are actually dealing with some heavy stuff. I want to give them a beer at sit at the rest stops with them, talking about the craziness of life.

If you’re twenty-two, physically fit, hungry to learn and be better, I urge you to travel - as far and as widely as possible. Sleep on floors if you have to. Find out how other people live and eat and cook. Learn from them- wherever you go.
