Tell me it’s you or nothing at all…because I’ve been unwell far too long now.

Lydia, this just made my day.
Who is down for a burrito?

Hmm. I ordered a house coffee in San Francisco at Ritual Coffee Roasters in The Mission.
I initially ordered a caramel latte. The man at the counter gave me a glare of disdain and responded, “Sir, we do not use syrups here. We have coffee, tea, or a latte.”
I was used to backwoods Pennsylvania options which were the same. Moving away led me to believe that the fancier the better.
Wrong.
So, I swiftly ordered a black, house coffee but with slight hesitation.
I couldn’t find the lids and was already stressed out by the humiliation at the counter, so I left the store to enjoy the java outside.
And as I stepped into the sunlight bursting through that morning San Francisco fog, I sipped what may have been and may still be the best coffee that has touched my lips.
With that said, Karl Fisher & the Alabaster crew makes some pretty mean coffee as well :)
And with that said Lydia, I believe we are due for me to treat you to a delicious brew soon. View high resolution

Lydia, I started reblogging this for you thinking it would be something you’d find charming and realized that I was actually reblogging it from you…

A mashup of Coldplay’s Clocks and Sufjan Stevens’s Chicago, played on violins. This is absolutely the best thing, I believe.

Yes! This goes out to Lydia and Jason. So good :)
