The pain radiates through your elbow
From that fist you never threw
Your anger barely shows
But somehow you knew
You knew it would come to this
Snowballs only roll bigger until you turn on the sun.

Dang. Chick-Fil-A continues to gain my respect as a business. It’s refreshing to see a company that knows that it’s not just about a product.
…and sometimes you tear up during a Chick-Fil-A ad.

Part Deux
I wrote a post two days ago about grace. The end of the post wrapped up with the differences in the way the world views mistakes and the way God does.
The world says, try harder. God says, “Come and die.”
Come and die does not sound like the logical answer, but allow me to elaborate.
The reason we sin is because we put our own needs before God’s. We put ourselves before God....

grace.
I was talking with my dear brother tonight about God’s grace and moving forward in it.
It’s tough sometimes, isn’t it?
Satan wants us to be immobilized by guilt and regret from our sins and mistakes.
Our selfish part wants us to swim freely in God’s grace all whilst clutching ever so tightly to the sin that we so dearly love…
But what does God’s word say?

It seems that all my bridges have been burned,
But you say that’s exactly how this grace thing works
It’s not the long walk home that will change this heart,
But the welcome I receive with the restart

Men
Jason: Joel and I want to have a guy hang out in the woods sometime this summer
Me: Sweet
Jason: We will wear loincloths and nothing else. We'll paint our chests with freshly burnt charcoal. It will be an entire weekend celebrating manhood.
Me: Awesome, I'm in on one condition...
Jason: What's that?
Me: We have to call it the Meat Retreat...and the only food we can bring is meat. Sort of like a weekend celebrating the KFC Double Down...
Jason: Deal
With that said, I just received an invitation on Facebook tonight for "Meat Retreat"//
"Conceived by manly men Joel and Jason, join us for a week of manliness in the wilderness of Pennsylvania, armed only with knives, loincloths, and testosterone-driven instincts of survival and chest beating."
I love being a man.

A “friend” on Facebook posted this as his status today:
”_______ thinks we should quit blaming BP or the government for the oil spill and start blaming ourselves.”
